As you can read in our Sales Prospectus, we offer the complete range of Diver and Leadership level training options. We are the largest Technical Diver Training Agency in the world and the fastest growing Sport Agency! We are committed to supporting the retail industry and the success of our prices, customer service and innovative product & flexible training can be reflected in the number of stores who made the move to train our courses. We are a member of the RSTC and EUF and in Australia we are members of the Dive Industry Association of Australia and Standards Australia.
Technical Diving International
Technical Diving International was one of the first agencies of its kind. It’s focus was and still is, on providing training materials and education for specialised diving situations ranging from Nitrox to Closed Circuit Rebreathers, as well as for overhead environments such as caves and wrecks. TDI distinguishes a sport dive from a technical dive as any dive involving decompression, additional cylinders, alternative breathing gases, rebreathers, or overhead environments such as wrecks, caves or mines. This definition does not define a strong line between the semantical differences of “recreational” and “technical” as both styles of diving are recreational (for fun) and require similar equipment.
The TDI diver training program is straight forward, proven effective and offers divers a comprehensive path from Intro to Tech™ to Advanced Trimix. Formed in 1994, TDI has built a reputation for a complete curriculum that includes cavern to full cave, decompression diving, trimix, and wreck penetration training. We also offer four levels of diver certifications on closed-circuit rebreathers to a depth of 100 metres. Round these offerings off with programs for gas blending and preparing equipment for oxygen service, and the program selection is complete. Simply put, TDI is a one-stop technical training solution that you will not out-grow.
With applications to suit all conditions and environments, Technical Diving International believes that local conditions demand local knowledge. While our programs are structured to deliver a solid understanding of technical diving and develop skills that are universally applicable, our instructors are encouraged to go beyond the minimum allowable to produce courses that account for, and that are tailored to, location specific environments. For example, diving in the North Atlantic may require a different approach than drift diving in the warm waters of Indonesia. Our training makes sure you are qualified as well as certified.
Scuba Diving International
Founded by TDI, Scuba Diving International has the unique advantage of seeing the recreational diving community through the experienced eyes of technical diving. SDI was created with the philosophy that past practices should be re-evaluated in the light of new technology and that recreational scuba instruction should reflect the actual needs of open water divers.
Standards that ensure genuine diver safety while maximising the pleasures of learning to dive are the foundation of SDI's diver training programs. SDI has re-examined limits that are arbitrary or based solely on tradition and developed new guidelines using scientific data and common sense. SDI believes divers should be trained from the beginning to take advantage of new technologies and the freedom to dive deeper or longer or both - with greater safety.
SDI was the first to introduce Dive Computers in the Open Water course, the first to embrace on-line training and the first to teach Solo Diving. We introduced no cost Scuba Discovery (Intro) programs as well as a 2 dive Supervised Diver course and the simplest “Easy Nitrox” course available. Our Open Water and Advanced Adventure Manuals are made to attract the student to pick them up and become engaged in learning to dive whilst the use of Knowledge Reviews and not exams allows for a friendlier assessment of a student’s learning. Course requirements are based upon completing the required skills and knowledge learning but not the order with which this is done, meaning students can enter the same class regardless of how much study they have done or what number dive it is.
The key differences that our instructors and stores love about working with SDI (in no particular order) are
· All training is done with a dive computer
· Flexibility in how courses are conducted
· Ability to library manuals
· Ease of working with us with great customer service
· Global online database system
· COST!
Emergency Response Training International
With the membership now happy with their options for both recreational and technical dive training through SDI and TDI, they continued to ask for more specialised training in public safety diving. ERDI is the only training program supported by a major certification agency that caters exclusively to public safety diving and is OSHA and NFPA compliant. Throughout the years ERDI has created programs and trained highly established dive teams including fire departments, police departments, and various federal agencies and militaries around the world
Performance Freediving International
Since our formation in 2000, PFI instructors have taught more than 10,000 people to freedive safer, longer, and deeper. Whether you’re new to freediving or you’re an experienced water enthusiast, we are the only source you need for freediver courses, instructor certifications, elite specialised training, and competition events. We are on a single-minded mission to give you the most cutting edge scientific and training information coming out of the sport today. The PFI dive mindset gets results. PFI-trained divers have set over 23 world records and dozens of national records. But freediving is more than competition—it’s a journey inward to see what you’re made of. To discover the potential inside yourself and infuse it into your whole life, both in and out of the water.
First Response Training International
We formed First Response Training International to fill a need in the layperson rescuer market. We were experienced in developing materials and support for instructors conducting several courses in various activities, some practical and technically complex. We took that knowledge and applied it to the outdated and underdone layperson rescuer market in hopes of creating a better and more informed rescuer. First Response Training International strives to provide the most up to date systems for learning and the best customer service to providers and instructors.
On-line Training (e-learning):
SDI was the first Training Agency to initiate on-line training programs and today offers courses in Open Water, Computer Nitrox, Deep, Wreck, Night, Navigation and our Solo Diver Courses along with a full Leadership suite of courses for Divemaster, Assistant Instructor and Open Water Scuba Instructor, with more programs ready to be released shortly.
TDI also has a large selection of on-line training programs to choose from including Intro to Tech, Nitrox, Advanced Nitrox, Decompression Procedures, CCR and Overhead.
Our focus is not to reduce the time a student takes to complete the course but rather allow them to study at their pace and in the comfort of their home before coming to the store for reviews and discussions with an Instructor and store staff. Codes are unique to each student and while they cannot be schooled the on-line feature allows you to have the student start the theory before they even come in the door and then track the student’s progress. The student can sign up direct or you can buy these wholesale and sell them just like any other product or include them in a course deposit and email them to new students.
Pricing:
Our costs are held to a minimum as we strive to keep our own costs down. Your fees do not go to maintain flash offices, expensive overseas travel or a huge warehouse. We maintain well managed stock levels and have hard working staff who use email and phone to stay regularly in touch and we visit our stores once or twice a year unless you want to see us more. In this way we can keep our prices attractive and competitive, thus allowing you to make more money.

Facility Membership is FREE (Yes, NO CHARGE TO BE A FACILITY!) whilst our professional membership prices (Divemasters, AI’s and Instructors) are among the lowest in the Dive Industry, as are most of our products and services. Instore Card Printing
Here at International Training Oceania we strive to bring you the best, most user friendly products that will enhance your Dive Centre’s appeal and presence. Our In Store Card Printing system is no different. While we make every effort to process certifications as quickly as possible (and we are absolutely the quickest in the industry!), we know today’s consumers are accustomed to instant results. How better to give your customers superior service than to be able to present them with a certification card as soon as they complete their course? How better to keep your Dive Center in their mind than by having your store logo on the card? And while we are at it, why not put student photos on c-cards as an added bonus? Our In Store Card Printing System gives you all these benefits without adding any significant additional labour on your part. We designed this system to be easy to use, straight forward and fast. When using our online registration system, printing a c-card is as easy as clicking a button. If you want to add student photos to your cards you can do so easily at any time using our photo upload module. Finally, as an added bonus when you sign up for our program you will have access to all your registered students records so that you can generate additional revenue via replacement card printing. You can brand your facility globally with the Dive Centre Logo feature on your students card at no extra cost. Let your divers’ c-cards travel the world with YOUR logo. The benefit is that your existing customers are reminded of your store every time they present their c-card….. and your store is branded with everyone who sees their card! This feature is in keeping with our philosophy “Our Business is Developing Yours!”
